Review: POM Wonderful

POM Wonderful is 100% pomegranate juice that is filtered and bottled with no preservatives or additives of any kind. It’s made from concentrate, so it may be slightly more diluted than straight squeezed pomegranates. However, it’s difficult to tell with pomegranate juice because one rarely just squeezes a pomegranate to get the juice…and most pomegranate products are either concentrated or made from concentrate. In the end, POM Wonderful is about as concentrated as you’d want in a ready-to-drink juice…as anything more concentrated would probably be too tart for most people (especially since there’s no added sugar, thankfully).

Overall, pomegranate juice is one of my favorite antioxidant juices and one of the three most powerful antioxidant berries in the world, along with acai and concord grape.

Taste

Medium tart with a slight touch of the bitterness associated with pomegranate (that’s a good thing). It won’t make you pucker, but you’ll definitely notice the taste of pomegranate. Excellent chilled.

Pros
