Review: Goodbelly
May 23rd, 2009
This is an amazing drink with a focus on offering plenty of digestive enzymes to help the body break down nutrients, digest food and eliminate waste. There are several flavors and they are all quite tasty. A small amount each morning goes a long way if you drink this consistently. With a combination of probiotics and fruit nutrients, Goodbelly makes an excellent morning drink or addition to your smoothie…and they really work! This probiotic drink has the advantage of being a dairy free product, for those who cannot tolerate dairy products. Besides being dairy free, they are soy and gluten free and completely vegan. They are a little on the expensive side, but if you buy the large size, you’ll save a bundle.

Taste
The taste is a bit like a yogurt, a little bit sour, but with plenty of fruit flavor too. These drinks are not sugary or sweet, but they have evaporated cane juice as a sweetener, which is one of my favorite sweeteners. Cane juice is pure sucrose and burns off quickly if you’re active. The peach and mango flavors are subtle and natural.
